GRAND STAND 3DESIGN FOR TRADE FAIR STANDS A factory floor was the setting for home appliances manufacturer Gaggenau at Eurocucina 2010, where the presentation not only showcased finished Gaggenau products but also gave an insight into their production. Especially for the occasion, the company’s logo was dismantled and taken from its position at the actual production site. It was then mounted onto a profile of construction-grade glass at the stand, representing the facade of a factory building. Designed by architecture firm eins:33, the trade fair booth was divided into three areas. In the factory area, a series of window-like displays showed the different phases in a production line for the assembly of an oven. The first was a large press on which the raw steel would be prepared. Additional steps included surface finishing, cable harness installation, assembly and quality control. The central area was reserved for the introduction of new Gaggenau products. A long counter constructed from black-painted boards resting upon stacked palettes formed the brand experience area where the focus was on the pleasure of cooking and the aesthetics of the firm. Star chefs from Gaggenau put on a show, using the appliances to prepare tasty snacks for visitors to savour.
