GAGGENAU SHOWROOM

LONDON, UK | 2007

For many years, Gaggenau has been one of the leading manufacturers of professional kitchen appliances.

Gaggenau is an integral part of the Bosch Siemens household appliances GmbH and is considered to be a premium brand within and outside the company. This applies not only to the design, but also to the quality and performance of the appliances. The design of the Gaggenau showrooms reflects brand values in a spatial system in order to present the kitchen appliances, but it also takes the regional influences of the individual international cities into account in the design of the concept. In this way an image of interaction is created in these venues.

In this context, the special challenge is the overlapping of different requirements. The space, as well as the overall impression must represent the characteristics of the brand but, at the same time, not be too much in  the foreground. The materials and colours must also be carefully chosen in order to remain in the background, but without appearing to be banal. The interaction of the materials on the appliances (aluminium, stainless steel) and the finish and colour of the presentation walls is crucial to the design.
