GAGGENAU PRESS EVENT

LONDON, UK | FEBRUARY 2007

A very particular location was chosen for the presentation of the new range of Gaggenau home appliances, the event took place in the vaults underneath London Bridge, which constituted a contrasting stage for the demonstration of the luxury brand. eins:33 designed a scenography to convert the venue into a atmospherically multi-layered stage.

Journalists as well as dealers from over thirteen countries were invited to witness the brand new designs and technical features of the Gaggenau appliances as well as the performance of the involved designers and firms.

All of the elements such as platforms, displays, counters, bars, tables and benches have been individually designed and manufactured for this event. A whole range of different materials was used for the particular theme of each area. The large-scale volumes for the cooling appliances were clad with fibre reinforced cement panels whereas the volumes for the ovens were covered with large format sheets of raw steel. The bars, tables and benches have been made from special plywood that is commonly used for concrete.
