CHINA LIFE

BEIJING, CHINA | 2012

A new chapter in our cooperation with Henn architects started in April when we first visited Beijing to meet our partners at CCDI and become familiar with the corporate standard of China life, one of the world's largest life insurance companies. During our stay we were able to get to know the many different aspects of the city's life. Forbidden city and the new centre, hutongs and high-rise buildings illustrate the friction of old and new China. We find ourselves trying to catch up with understanding history whilst designing the future.
