AIT ARCHITEKTURSALONHAMBURG, GERMANY | JUNE 2009
On the perimeter of the impressive and wellknown 'Hafen City' where contemporary sleek office architecture meets the old warehouses of Hamburg´s Speicherstadt, the 'AIT Architektursalon' offers display space to suppliers of different fields related to architecture and interior design next to exhibitions on the works of young professionals. Where you would least expect it, Gaggenau has brought a wooden peace of craftsmenship from the Schwarzwald to the northern metropolis.
The show kitchen combines a clean white core, packed with up-to-date kitchen appliances of the German luxury brand with a raw but gently textured frame made of Dinesen douglas wood. The two L-shaped wooden elements dynamically form a bridge to the white L-shaped display modules for supplier firms presenting themselves and their products in the Architektursalon.
