SCHÜLLER BOSCH SHOWROOM CONCEPT

SHANGHAI, CHINA | DECEMBER 2009

The brief was to design a joint flagship showroom for Schüller Möbelwerk KG and Bosch Hausgeräte GmbH in Shanghai.

A new experience showroom was designed including various interactive elements. The young, dynamic showroom proposal incorporates a vivid sample wall greeting the visitor when entering the space. The prospective buyer is invited to assemble his | her dream kitchen on a screen, choosing his | her favourite colours, surface materials etc. 

Rounded volumes are forced through the ceiling from ground floor to top floor in which the different kitchen models are exhibited, creating a dynamic walk-through. The showroom is also home to a cut-through of a kitchen, a large meeting area, a Bosch lounge, a live cooking area and a space for luxury food sale.
