SPORTSCHECK SHOP CONCEPT

BERLIN, GERMANY | APRIL 2010

SportScheck, one of Germany‘s leading sporting goods suppliers, called for entries for the competition to design a new shop in Berlin. The pitch asked for suggestions of improving the overall shop appearance, taking into account the current lack of emotion present in the stores. We went about this task by researching the individual features and the historical characteristics of the region and came to the conclusion that the  Berlin branch should, among other things, incorporate  various interactive features in order to attract the cosmopolitan population.

To underline SportScheck‘s image as a sporting community, it was important to update the current customer services by adding various up-to-date multimedia options, such as a SportScheck Club, iPhone Applications, SportScheck Facebook Group etc. Another point we considered important, was the customer‘s journey through the shop which should be clear and easily navigable with various different coloured lines guiding the way. The SportScheck CI colour of orange would be the main ,artery‘.

In a special events zone various sporting competitions or celebrity meeting sessions will attract the customers to the shop. One last feature is an installation consisting of visual projections of sporting events and news onto the facade.
