GAGGENAU ONLINE SHOWROOM

GAGGENAU.COM | JUNE 2010

For our project of designing the backdrop for the Gaggenau Onlineshowroom we created three very different environments in which the viewer can experience the Gaggenau appliances. The first being the loft in New York. Once inside, a lift takes you to floor 42. When exiting, you find yourself in midst a modern, open space overlooking the New York skyline. Wood, white surfaces and the glass facade dominate the open plan kitchen and living area. By choosing various hotspots you are zoomed in to  admire the appliances close up.

The second excursion takes you to a traditional pavilion in Bali, set in amongst lush green gardens and overlooking the blue sea. Natural materials are combined with the sleek white surfaces of the displays into which the shining appliances are built. In the background you can catch a glimpse of the luxurious sofa area overlooking a splashing waterfall.

After being guided through a cloister, a Venetian canal with boat landing stage to your right, you enter a period interior with high stucco ceilings and intricate wall paintings. The stainless steel counter sits on a herringbone parquet flooring, sunlight streaming in through the high French windows. Contrasting to the historical surroundings the appliances are displayed in polished black furniture.
